These name-callers, far down south on the edge of the world, knew that the menace from the north knew the language of the Gods, and the secrets of magic. This arcane knowledge the Vikings learned through daily talk, trade and aiding their gods. Albeit they knew they were tools of the gods, some were so strong willed and bold that they equalled the gods themselves, and as such stood out as mighty heroes. Some were not only friends with spirits, but where possessed with these spirits which aided them in times of need. Some rare individuals even mastered their inhabitant spirits, giving them superhuman powers. These men of the north where truly alMadjus, wielders and masters of magic. ot only where they feared by the whole world due to their rash temper, eagerness for battle, lack of fear and blind faith in Valhalla. They were also skilled sailors and farmers, craftsmen extraordinaire and they had knowledge of Runes, Fylgia possessions and the magic Galder songs to accomplish their agenda. Never breaking an oath and disgusted by traitors and cowards the men of the north was valued as life guards for distant emperors. They lived and died by their blade and honour, and thus did the bravest of them become... -legends in their time and history. l Madjus is a fast paced melee game with warriors and valkyries, all able to wield various melee weapons and capable of using bows, javelins and other missile weaponry. All resemble the boldest and most eager of men, thus are they all able to use magic as well. Whether you chose to play in frenzied areas where everyone is fighting everyone, or you work with your comrades to defeat the enemies, all gaming will be fast paced and death comes to those unwary of their surroundings.
